Summary:
A
staff member from the School of Public Health reported that she was walking in

a brief chase, apprehended and detained the suspect for responding Baltimore
City Police units. The suspect was taken into custody and subsequently
charged with Robbery, Assault and Theft. The staff member did not report
being injured.
Corporate
Security personnel conducted an area search after the suspect was secured and
taken into custody by the police. The victim’s purse and contents were
located and returned to her.
All faculty, staff and students are reminded to remain
alert and aware of their surroundings while walking to and from the campus.
Should you find yourself the victim of a robbery, always remember to stay calm,

the crime as soon as possible.
